“Mother Putting Champions — net 62 on the secret holes.”
Since March 2023, every competitive Double Bogey round has had real stakes: a genuine championship belt, handed over in front of the whole field. Hold it and your photo enters the lineage forever. Lose it and, well, the group chat remembers.

Transcribed from the announcement posts, in order. The photos are real. The poses were their idea.

“Mother Putting Champions — net 62 on the secret holes.”

“Braving the blistering cold and howling winds, these two gents stood up to adversity and pulled off a big win with a clean +4 — without being able to feel their hands.”

“Tied with the runner-up team at +1, this formidable twosome took the cake by scoring par on #8, the hardest hole on the course. Last champions of '23.”

“They had to have started planning this back in December of 2022… the overwhelming evidence is in the comments. One thing is certain: these two can play some golf.”

“What do you get when a golf coach and a cowboy walk into a golf course? The new Mother Putting Champions. Their photo took its rightful place on the front page of the website.”

“Dressed as a true team, these former champions came for one thing alone: to reclaim their rightful glory. Congrats on reclaiming the belt — the target on your backs is even bigger now.”

“Hide your fowl, because these guys are out to get them! Pretty sure they just robbed the zoo — 5 birdies and 2 eagles.”

“I knew something was different today when Brett pulled out Blue Steel for the group photo. Turns out it was the whole damn cake they were after — in a scorcher of a day.”

“Randomly paired but perfectly matched. These two brave warriors fought through the narrowest of fairways and proved themselves worthy of holding the esteemed title.”

“Who just smashed those greens and mastered the art of launching bombs like a couple of absolute legends?! Y'all had both the lowest gross and net scores.”

“They make 20-foot putts for birdie look like a walk in the park… I give you the new Mother Putting Champions! Well deserved after both making those long putts for birdie.”
The hand-kept record from the group-chat era ends in February 2024. Every reign since is added automatically the moment a Mother Putting Champion photo is posted from a completed round. The lineage above is the part we can prove.
The Mother Putting Championship only changes hands on an announced championship round, not every casual game, and never automatically. When the next belt round is called and a champion is crowned, their reign and their photo take the next place in the lineage above.
Days since a reign made the written record. Champions have been crowned in the group chat since. None of them filed the paperwork. Reign 12 is open on the record.
Want your photo up there? Get on the sheet for the next round. The belt has changed hands for less.
